Parks
Tilghman Park
Tilghman Park is the main “playground” in Chandler for both young and old and was originally a part of the historic National Guard Encampment Site. Its facilities include a pavilion, picnic tables, playground equipment, and restrooms. The Park is also home to the Chandler Round-up Club which hosts play days for horse riders and an annual rodeo.
With 40 RV Hook-ups (electric and water) and two sewer dump stations nearby, Tilghman Park has become a popular site for RV Campers. A group of five RV ers or more can reserve sites in advance and have available to them a pavilion for games and activities as well as a meeting room with kitchen and restroom facilities.
Centennial Garden
Dedicated during Oklahoma’s Centennial in 2007 residents will find Chandler’s Centennial Garden an outdoor oasis for family gatherings or special events. The garden boasts a gazebo and pergola with winding walkways. The landscaping changes with the seasons offering many different color palettes during the year. The garden has become a popular photo spot. The centennial garden can be reserved for special occasions at a nominal fee by contacting city hall at 258-3200.
Rainbow Park
Rainbow Park is located on historic Route 66, next to the swimming pool. It is a convenient place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. A playground and picnic tables are available.
Indian Springs Park
Indian Springs Park is developed around a historic artesian aquifer which served as a water supply for early-day settlers and traders prior to Chandler becoming a city. The park features a playground and picnic tables.
